Estimator/Project Manager
Responsibilities Include but are not Limited to:
- Solicit and Maintain communication with sub-contractors and vendors
- Prepares subcontractor bid packages
- Transmits addenda and other bid information to subs
- Ensures that we have adequate coverage from all trades on bid day and performs a comprehensive "bid day" analysis of specific trade bids
- Shows creativity and resourcefulness to gain better pricing from subcontractors
- Buyout day- ensure subs commit to project schedule
- Enters relevant information into Sage
- Review job costs and schedules with Job Superintendent and identify areas of concern
Ideal Person will have at least 5 years Commercial Estimation or Project Management experience. You must be a self-motivated and punctual with the desire to be proactive in all situations and create solutions. The ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks and projects is an absolute necessity.
